Betty

20327 - *BLIND* Nice calm girl! Very social. Loves attention. Is diabetic so she needs a home that is willing and able to take care of this for the rest of her life. Ok with calm submissive dogs her size or should be only dog.

Status: Adoptable - in a foster home

Bobby

20689 - High energy! Very playful and affectionate, but needs training and basic manners! He is also very jumpy & (soft)mouthy. Bobby will need an active owner who can provide daily exercise & stimulation! Good with other dogs. Kids over 14yrs.

Bonnie (& Clyde)

18625 - These two may not be robbing banks anytime soon, but they will sure steal your heart! Bonnie and Clyde (18624) are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. No ifs ands or buts about it! These two are great together, but not fans of other dogs. This dynamic duo is looking for a home that has recent husky experience. Bonnie and Clyde are a little nervous here at the shelter but once they get to know you they will calm down pretty quickly. Due to their shy personalities, B&C need a home with children 14 years or older, and no cats! ***Accepting applications.

Boone

17813 - Meet Boone, a fabulous boy looking for a better life.  When we found Boone, he had a broken leg, was nervous around strangers and really didn’t want to make friends.  After Boone's leg healed, the foster family began working on his social skills.  He unfortunatly developed some skin problems and lost a lot of fur. Boone's skin problem has been resolved and his hair has all grown back. Boone is a big boy at over 80 pounds and loves everyone!  He will need a home with dogs similar in size, and no cats.   He has been great around children of various ages but due to his size we prefer kids over the age of 8.   Boone loves to play with his pit bull foster sister but also loves to snuggle with humans! If you are looking for a big lap dog, maybe Boone is the boy for you!  He is in a foster home so if you are interested in adopting him email Julie at JReber@Berksarl.com.

Guinness

Harley

20233 - Harley is not currently available for adoption, but the ARL is accepting adoption applications for him.  Completed applications can be sent to Julie at jreber@berksarl.org. Our boy Harley loves toys, long walks, tennis balls and especially squeaky toys! He's very affectionate. According to his previous owner, Harley loves car rides, is housebroken and is ok with submissive dogs. Children over 8 years old for this guy though! Harley takes his treats and toys hard and still has a good amount of energy!

Status: In Foster Care but accepting applications

Harold

20439 - Happy, playful guy! Very mouthy, but doesn't mouth hard. Likes toys but does have some resource guarding issues with food, etc. Needs someone willing to devote a lot of time into training and exercise, as well as basic manners. Adopter must have recent husky experience and understand young, obnoxious husky behavior. Ok with a submissive dog as he is quite pushy. No children under 18 years of age due to energy level and resource guarding. **Accepting apps only to be approved by Julie**

Jimmy

20602 -Will definitely need lots of exercise and training! Lots of energy and very little manners :) Recently neutered so he may need a little bit of house training (he may mark). Slightly anxious, may have been kept outside. OK with children over 14. Rude with dogs - best with submissive/tolerant females.
