The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is a great place to tour! We combine animal education with hands-on fun for an enriching experience that is perfect for groups like Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Daisies & Brownies.
Tours generally take 45-60 minutes and children can expect to tour the public areas of our facility including the cat room, critter room, two kennels and the barn & surgery center (weather permitting). The context of these tours is tailored to the age group of the participants to create a unique experience.
We’ll also talk to children about pet care and safety as well as give them some time to interact with adoptable cats and dogs. Each child will leave with a goodie bag and information on our facilities and the programs that may be of interest.
If you would like to schedule a tour for your group, please email our Program Coordinator, Kristi Rodriguez, or give her a call at 610-373-8830 x120.
