Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesdayBerks is part of a national celebration of generosity that takes place on the first Tuesday of December annually.  This year’s event is December 1, 2015. It’s a day to give a gift that makes an impact – right here in your own community. It’s a way to let your values be part of your holiday giving.

This holiday season, you can support the excellent work being done for Berks County’s homeless pets at the Animal Rescue League by making a donation on Giving Tuesday – Tuesday, December 1.

Then, make your gift go even further by posting an “unselfie” tagged with #GivingTuesdayBerksARL  to 2015-Its-Time-for-Giving1-300x300 (1)social media and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Make your donation in honor of a loved on on your holiday shopping list and we’ll send them a card acknowledging your donation.

When you donate to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County:

  • $10 donation will provide toys for adoptable pets.
  • $25 donation will buy vaccinations to keep an adoptable pet healthy.
  • $50 donation will provide medical care for a sick or injured animal.

Want more Giving Tuesday fun?  Come to the shelter and take a tour to learn more about what we do. We’ll show you around, talk about the animals we care for, where they come from and how we help them so you know EXACTLY where your donation is going! Tours will take place every hour on the hour beginning at 11am through 5pm.
