Julie’s Way is in honor of a beautiful Cairn Terrier who brought love and joy into the home of a wonderful family. After Julie’s passing, a generous donation was given to the Animal Rescue League to have a lasting memorial built on the grounds of the ARL for others to enjoy and remember their beloved pets. Phase One of Julie’s Way was building a set of stairs and bridge that leads to the 10 acre space for animals, volunteers, and adopters to enjoy during their stay at the ARL.
Phase Two of Julie’s Way will be paving a walkway from the bridge that will lead to a courtyard with a statue of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Julie’s Way will have 1’ x 1’ pavers that are available for engraving. This would be a beautiful way to honor any pet that held a special place in your heart. The courtyard will have additional 1’ x 1’ pavers as well as 4” x 8” bricks that will border the courtyard. The bricks are also available for engraving and could be donated in honor of a friend or family member who has lost a pet.
Thank you for choosing to honor your pet, friend, family member or any animal advocate with an engraved paver or brick on Julie’s Way at the Animal Rescue League. Doing so not only creates a lifetime legacy but makes a difference now in the care of the animals at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
