will host a 2 mile dog and owner event to benefit the ARL.
Registration is $20 in
advance and includes race t-shirts and goodie bags filled with products
and coupons.
Pre-registration deadline is
August 30. Registration is available at the event but goodie bags
may run out!
Prizes for the top three in
each dog weight division (20 lbs &
under * 21-40 lbs * 41-60 lbs * 61+ lbs) plus hundreds of dollars in
random raffle prizes given out to runners and walkers!
Sign-in begins at 8:00am and
the race/walk begins at 9:15am, rain or shine!

is a FREE one hour seminar offered to anyone who has adopted a dog here
at the ARL.
The ARL, in cooperation with Awesome Dawgs Dog Training,
LLC, has created a dynamic, information-packed seminar
designed to help you and your dog start off on the right foot for this
new adventure. Conversations will include an introduction to modern dog
training, appropriate dog handling skills and what dog language looks
like. B.A.R.C. is about getting to know the dog that now lives
with you.

The ARL and Awesome Dawgs Dog Training, LLC
are offering an invitation-only dog training opportunity. This offer is
not open to the general public. As the new owner of your ARL adoptee you
are qualified to enroll in a training class that is designed to help you
and your dog adjust to the new relationship. This class is only $65 and
will include (3) one hour sessions held on Wednesday evenings in the
Animal Rescue League Education Room.

chosen the ARL as their charity for this extraordinarily fun event!
It will feature dealers selling vintage and current PEZ® candy
dispensers with prices ranging from $1.00 to several hundreds of dollars
each. This unique show is the only one of its type in the area and will
enable both collectors and the curious to view more PEZ® dispensers in
one area than most have seen in their lifetime. There will be
activities & games for both children and adults.
