Diversity is important to us
We know that the last 3 months have been very stressful and have taken emotional and psychological tolls on everyone as several national crises have unfolded.
With the recent events related to George Floyd, we know many of us are grieving and dealing with a great amount of distress, fear, sadness and anger. Please know that we are here for each and every one of you and stand behind the ARL’s anti-discrimination policies in all its forms! Every one of you is deeply valued as the individuals you are and each of you add your diverse and wonderful talents and perspectives to this team that we all benefit from.
It’s incredibly important to us to stay true to our values of kindness, respect, professionalism and inclusiveness and we want to remain thoughtful and effective in how we help create and support that environment and culture within the ARL.
We want to ensure that we talk about situations where we can be of help for those who are grieving and feeling extreme stress. Please also remember that the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is also there to help you through counseling and other resources.
Because we know you aren’t fans of speaking up in group settings, we put together a brief anonymous internal survey so you can share any concerns, worries or issues you may see that we can address whether they are big or small. And you can always put suggestions in the box in the middle office any time of the year.
