Honoring 25 years of Leadership
The Friends of Harry Brown Society was created to unite an elite group of individual donors dedicated to honoring Harry D. Brown’s legacy with the Animal Rescue League by ensuring the ARL’s mission of guaranteeing a more humane life to all of Berks County’s animals in need.
These individuals pledge to support the ARL’s efforts by advocating for a more humane Berks County by being proactive in educating and engaging our community, providing the optimum level of service, and setting the standard of animal welfare for shelters nationwide. Through a comprehensive effort of uniting all animal lovers, we are dedicated to contributing to a world wide effort of ending animal suffering and working towards decreasing the amount of homeless animals in our Berks County.
The Society recognizes individuals who make an investment to improve animal welfare by supporting the Animal Rescue League of Berks County with a leadership contribution of $1,000 or more to our annual campaign. Together, we can not only shape the mindset of our community and improve the quality of life for homeless animals in Berks County, but we can set the bar for animal shelters nationwide to take action and implement change in their own community.
