Thank you to all who donated on Tuesday, May 5th! Giving Tuesday is over, but our need for donations and your generosity remains. Please consider making a donation on our website by clicking HERE. Thank you!
Even though times are hard, difficult and uncertain, each day, our hearts are filled because of you — our community. You’ve made masks, cooked meals and ran errands for your immunocompromised neighbors. You’ve stayed home and spent extra time with your kids and your pets. You’ve brightened sidewalks and the entrances of hospitals with chalk. And hundreds of you volunteered to take in pets as fosters in case our shelter becomes overwhelmed. Even when we can’t be together, you proved that we are still ONE community.
Right now, so much is unknown, but for us, one thing has remained the same: Thousands of animals still need us. And in the coming days, we think that thousands of people are going to need us even more who have lost their jobs, their lives, their health and the ability to care for their pets.
With all of our 2020 in-person fundraisers canceled or on hold, we’re looking at significant budget shortfalls this year to accomplish the hard and important work ahead. This year, we need your support more than ever to help pets — and help people with their pets. Let’s rise up, together, as ONE community. Please save the date for a special #givingtuesday on May 5th and give what you can. After all, we’re not only fueled by love, we’re funded by it, too. Thank you.
